Safrea presents: GG Alcock

Awesome speaker at the next Safrea event! We host GG Alcock, author of Third World Child at the LibScreen Shot 2015-09-14 at 6.24.13 PMrary, Brazen Head Sandton, tomorrow night.

GG grew up in a Zulu community in Msinga, KZN. Today, he runs Minanawe Marketing, an events and activation agency for the mass market.

Third World Child, his story about “being truly African even as a white person” was longlisted for this year’s Alan Paton Prize. Blue Horizon Pictures, a UK production company, recently acquired the film rights.

Books will be on sale at R250 each (and a signed copy would make a great gift, so bring cash – December is not too far away!).
