Sylvana’s legendary video!

I worked at FHM, but I didn’t often post stuff from there on my personal blog. I made an exception in the case of the lovely Sylvana Easton, though. Sylvana appeared from nowhere, sending us a couple of pics in 2009. We were blown away, and immediately organised to do a short shoot with her. After that, the FHM Fan response was so great that we took her along to Swaziland to shoot FHM Lingerie with Bonang Matheba and the girls. I never quite got a handle on where Sylvana was from or where she went. I heard she was a dancer in Cape Town, but I certainly never saw conclusive proof. Even if we never hear from her again, we’ll still have this video, which captures a moment in time when Sylvana was at her flabbergasting finest…

  1. She was a child TV star appearing on Soul City, Teta Samwawa and some other shows. She matriculated and went into amateur modelling and worked as a dancer. She is married now and living a normal life.

  2. Hi thereSylvana is a close friend of mine, in fact we live on the same street. I often ask her why doesn\\\\\’t she get back in the game and she declines.I guess she\\\\\’s done with modeling now, after all like you said, we all saw her at her flabbergasting finest :)Please get in touch with me personally, I would like your opinion on my teenage daughter whose just as promising. I\\\\\’m thinking of launching her into the industry but I\\\\\’m treading very carefully. It would be great to have some sound professional opinion.ThanksJennifer

    • Hi Jennifer.
Feel free to mail me hagen@hagenshouse.com But the best advice I can give is to approach a reputable, established modelling agency. Ice, Boss, Alushi, Fusion, Outlaws, 3D 20 Management and Full Circle are some. They will tell you straight about your prospects in the industry and give real, practical advice.
